New York State requires dog owners to obtain a dog license after their dog reaches 4 months old.

The late fee for an expired dog license is $15.00
If your dog is brought to the SPCA and must be redeemed, the fees are as follows:
- 1st offense $65.00
- 2nd offense $125.00
- 3rd offense $175.00
